The kid’s favorite feature of the Ankeny Library Playground was the interactive arch! The kids would press a button and it would play different activities to do such as play music, jump on certain numbers, walk certain ways, freeze dance, and more. Learn more about this fun feature here.
The playground is small, but a perfect place to climb and burn off energy. It is perfect for all ages and also handicapped accessible.
There is not much shade at this playground. They do have one small shelter with two picnic tables that have a cover. There is no other seating around the playground.
Make sure you stop by the Ankeny Library to play and check out some books before you leave!
