Triumph Park located in Waukee, Iowa is a pretty impressive inclusive park. The park includes an Epic Incluvie Playground, an 11-acre pond with an accessible fishing pier, walking trails, and baseball fields. The entire playground is fun for all ages and abilities!

Our family has been counting down the days for Triumph Park in Waukee, Iowa to open to the public. There has been a bunch of buzz around the Epic Inclusive Playground and it did not disappoint. The entire 15,000-square-foot structure is impressive.
The number one favorite feature was the large, winding slide. I believe it may be the tallest slide in the Des Moines area. Even my husband made a climb up and a ride down!
The entire playground is full of slides, climbing features and so much more. The playground is huge! Even though it was a bit crowded when we made a visit (the second day it was open) I still felt there was plenty of space for kids to run and play. I really loved all the bright colors!

The details on the Epic Inclusive Playground and surrounding the playground were really thought out. If your child may be scared of heights or not a fan of going down slides, there are interactive things to do all over including playing music, fun swings, looking out telescopes, “merry-go-rounds”, climbing squishy rocks, and much more. The features encourage the children to use all of their senses which I love!
To the side of the large playground is a smaller one for the little kiddos in your life. I love the little guide that is posted on the playground to encourage caregivers to get involved and ask questions.
In addition, there is a large walking trail that goes around the pond, the Triumph Park Fishing Pier, a “Cooling Zone” to cool off in some shade, and lots of green space to play.
