Rolling Thunder Prairie has over 250 acres of native prairie with hills and a wooded creek. There are no designated trails.
Brickyard Park is a new park, with nature displays and a shelter that people can reserve for parties. Access to the Raccoon River Valley Trail is nearby.
Jensen Marsh has a wide variety of wildlife and plant life, alongside diverse habitats. There is an abandoned railroad bed along the park’s edge with parking on each end, which can be walked on as a trail.
Hanson Prairie Preserve offers a unique look into the prairie ecosystem, with over 30 acres of tall grass prairie.
