Brenton Arboretum is a true gem, acres of rolling hills and prairie, with a unique natural playscape that kids love to play on. They have a shelter with a “green roof” that is growing prairie on top as well, perfect for picnics.

Woodland Mounds is a park named after large earthen mounds created by Native Americans, believed to be a part of religious ceremonies or as burial sites. There is an extensive trail system, with wooded trails.
Zo-El Annett Woods has a loop trail through the woods, crossing a long suspension bridge with beautiful views. There are several steps and elevation changes, with a nice flat area to picnic or grill.
Hickory Hills Park has a mid 1900’s barn, pond, and secluded campsites along hiking trails.
